Can we get over this yellow tree house thing? next please
slightly ironic release given that the person quoted wasn’t involved in this campaign at all
5.08 – Jealousy anybody?
Awards do not = success. Maybe why they’re not a client any longer?
I’d say Colenso are doing well enough. I’d wager they’re doing better than your agency 9.18.
Funny 5.24. True but funny.
5:24 yeah….and slagged it off
Well Yellow are doing very well aren’t they, all these awards have really improved their business, which by the look of it is about to go tits up.
Sadly a lot of the work that wins awards is only done for the agency’s benefit, not the clients. Still all the various ex-Aimers will be pleased to have chalked up yet another meaningless award while some of their former clients will be facing the dole queue before too long.
Bravo.
9.41 It was a campaign, not an effort to create world peace. A campaign can’t fix a few billion of debt.
Dear 10.46am, please take your logic and leave.
This blog is not the forum for sensible point making.
9.41 kellie nathan from yellow admitted on the ad show that their product (the yellow search engine) is rubbish, yet she still made the call to keep rolling out big campaigns (chocolate). The team on tree house did an amazing piece of work, the client briefed them to do it. If yellow choose to place more budget and priority behind advertising than anything else then more fool them.
1.43 very true…nice post
Can someone please tell me how winning awards helps when your business is going down the shitter? That applies to Yellow as well as Aim.
3:51 that is very true. Bit like the captain of the Titanic getting the radio operator to send out an entry into the Ocean Liner of the Year Award as soon as he’s done with the SOS.
