The Toot Group wins competitive pitch to promote High Street Auckland
The Toot Group has won a competitive pitch to create a campaign promoting Auckland’s High Street District. Also pitching for the account was Barnes Catmur & Friends and Rascals.
Kicking off in the in the lead-up to Christmas, the campaign will be reaffirming the High St District’s place in Auckland’s heart. An enthusiastic group of business owners from the High Street District have initiated the activity.
“High St has been the seed bed of so much of NZ’s recent creativeculture… the lattes, punk, club culture, our fashion boom… it’s allpassed through High St. There are so many fantastic stories to tell andexperiences to create. It’s an absolute privilege to be involved,”said Cleve Cameron, creative director, The Toot Group.
The Toot Group recently opened bases in Auckland and Wellington andservice clients including Steinlager, NZ Post, Hallertau Brewery,Harringtons Small Goods, The Trusty Delivery Co. Family of 12.
Cameron previously worked at Saatchi & Saatchi Wellington, Naked and BMF. Across the ditch, he was fortunate to bag a fewinternational golden trophies for his campaigns for Coca-Cola, GoodmanFielder, and Mini among others.
Toot Group Managing Director, Sam Chapman, was a key founder in theWellington cultural institutions – Matterhorn and Mighty Mighty. Samhas worked with such clients as Tourism NZ, Positively WellingtonTourism, NZ International Festival of the Arts, NZTE, and 42 Below.
