Labour logo generally well received by Kiwis

Barnes, Catmur & Friends recently completed a project to design the new identity for the New Zealand Labour Party.
Daniel Barnes: “Producing new identities, most recently Skyline garages, has always been part of what we do, but the Labour Party is the most high profile. Gratifyingly it was a relatively smooth process over a number of months and we feel the result is a real improvement.
“Generally all new logos are torn to shreds by the 4 million amateur designers that live in New Zealand, but this one has so far come through relatively unscathed.”
The old Labour Party logo is at right.

They’re gonna need more than a new logo. But I hope BC do their election ads. They’ll probably be quite good.
Maybe the fern should be pointing to the left?
It has my vote.
Looks great!
Keep plugging that you also did Skyline garages and you may become famous.
brilliant. problems solved.
Theft of the silver fern and our national icon in a vain effort to help a hopelessly limp political party. How is that good? That is both unoriginal and desperate.
You have to wonder at the inane congratulations on here. It appears some people don’t have a brain to think for themselves before flocking like sheep to slap each other on the back.
Ditching the NZ flag huh. Bad move.
Agree with 3:55.
Let me guess, the kiwi was option b?
Looks like this was made in a garage……SNAP.
Maybe this could do with a rainbow?
