Campaign Brief 494.pngMoa Beer is giving Kiwis the opportunity to shout their Olympic heroes a Moa on Facebook.

The campaign, from digital agency Gladeye, will deliver personal messages from Moa fans to the Olympic village, along with special limited edition Moa magnums for all the New Zealand athletes.

Punters go in the draw for a chance to win a place on The Podium of Beer (take home a pallet, half pallet or quarter pallet of Moa) to help celebrate New Zealand Olympic glory.

Over 1,500 virtual Moas have already been shouted by keen contestants, with Valerie Adams currently at the top of the athlete’s leaderboard, closely followed by several members of the

New Zealand cycling team.

Says Moa Beer marketing manager Sunil Unka: “We know our athletes will give it heaps and do us proud but we thought a little extra motivation couldn’t hurt.”

The campaign runs through until 19 August 2012 on Moa’s Facebook Page.

And not all medals go to Olympians – the Moa Beer Website, also designed by Gladeye, won

Gold at the 2012 Communicator Awards last month and Moa Beer picked up 7 medals at the Asia Beer Awards this month, topping the overall medal tally for the second consecutive year.
