mirror.jpgThe Shopping Channel has launched its first TVC via Ogilvy NZ and its executive creative director Angus Hennah, whose work on the spot was one of his first projects for Ogilvy since joining the agency in July from JWT Sydney.

Directed by Tracey Rowe from Robber’s Dog, the commercial began airing on TV3, Four and Sky channels this week.

Says Hennah: “Tracey has brought a beauty and femininity to the launch ad that I’m sure will help build anticipation ahead of the first broadcast of The Shopping Channel in October,”

Hennah says it has been a rewarding experience to be part of Ogilvy MD Greg Partington’s vision for the new channel.

Says Henneh: “It’s not every day you get to launch an entirely new channel, and it certainly creates a buzz around the agency.”

The Shopping Channel will be on air 24 hours a day, seven days a week on Channel 18 on both Sky and Freeview HD from 1st of October.
