The 27th Annual LIA Judging Session was held at the Wynn/Encore Hotel in Las Vegas last month, convening over a ten-day period with the addition of seminars and one-on-one ‘Creative Conversations’.

The juries, led by their respective Jury Presidents, viewed and scored every entry within their medium ensuring that all the work was judged equally. They concluded with final discussions to determine Grand LIAs, Statue Winners and Finalists. Grand LIAs are chosen from the Golds, within their respective media. It is not mandatory for a Jury to select a Grand LIA.

Says Barbara Levy, President of LIA: “This year’s Juries worked diligently, sometimes late into the night to be sure all entries were given their due consideration. The results reflect the Juries’ lengthy discussions and sometimes heated debates. With judging running simultaneously with the ‘Creative Conversations’ for over 60 individually selected, Young Creatives from around the world there was much going on and the vibe was phenomenal.”
