CAANZ announces date amendment for 2014 Axis Awards – new entry deadline of Friday, Dec 13th

CAANZ has today announced a change to the closing dates for 2014 Axis Awards to assist with the busy run up to Christmas.

The closing date for entries has been moved back two days to Friday 13th December.  For those who still cannot submit their entries by this new deadline, a late entry extension replaces the original 48 hour extension. Late entries will be subject to a late entry payment per each late entry, but will give agencies a further six days to complete the entry to 4pm on Thursday 19th December.

Hard copy material which is a mandatory requirement in a lot of categories and is required for judging can now be dealt with in the new year.   The closing date for hard copy material has been moved back to 4pm on Friday 17th January 2014.

Says Paul Head, CAANZ CEO: “We’re acutely aware that the pre-Christmas deadline impacts on the industry in what is traditionally an extremely busy time of the year, so we have answered the call for a bit more leeway.”

Says James Mok, Axis Awards convener of judges: “It’s important to give agencies and production companies the time to craft great entries, especially with busy schedules in December. I’m really pleased CAANZ has been able to provide more flexibility around the material deadline.”

Axis Awards 2014 Dates:

Entries close: Friday 13th December at 4pm

Late entry deadline closes: Thursday 19th December at 4pm

Hard copy material deadline: Thursday 17th January 2014 at 4pm

Axis Awards Show (Viaduct Event Centre): Thursday 6th March
