AWARD announces finalists in Film & Video, Craft in Film, Radio + Design; Colenso BBDO, DDB, DraftFCB and Saatchi’s lead the NZ agency pack
CB Exclusive – The Communications Council has today announced the first set of finalists in the 35th AWARD Awards, across four categories: Film & Video, Craft in Film, Radio, and Design.
Agencies with the most finalists in a category are: Clemenger BBDO, Melbourne for Film & Video, The Sweet Shop for Craft in Film, DDB Sydney for Radio, and Re in Design.
DDB, Colenso BBDO and Saatchi & Saatchi lead the NZ agency pack in Film & Video, with three finalists apiece. DraftFCB Auckland and Clemenger BBDO, Wellington have one finalist each.
DraftFCB has two finalists in Radio while Colenso BBDO has one.
Chairmen in each of the categories were: Steve Cochran (Colenso BBDO) for Film & Video, Paul Middleditch (Plaza Films) for Craft in Film, Paul Reardon (Whybin\TBWA) for Radio, and Michaela Webb (Round Studio) for Design.
Finalists for additional categories will be announced upon completion of judging.
The awards presentation event will take place on Thursday 25th March at Sydney Town Hall, in Sydney. Tickets are available here.
