“As you may be aware the CB BLOG has been nominated in the Battle of the Ad Blogs 2006, one of five in the category “Best Ad Commentary not from the USA”. However, due to the inate laziness of Aussies and Kiwis, only 58 of our 2000+ registered CB Bloggers have so far bothered to click a simple button and vote for us. But it’s still not too late for the CB Blog to leapfrog the Italians (210), Dutch (85) and Indians (61).”
However you lazy fucks will have to go to CB and click the button.

Since yesterday the CB Blog has passed the Indians to claim the #3 spot, with our vote going from 58 to 71. The bloody Italians are still leading (211) followed by the Dutch (86) but CB can sense they are spent, while we have plenty of votes in reserve, as long as we get over this post Xmas laziness. Even if everyone who went to the CB Legendary Xmas Lunch in Auckland voted (and want to get an invite this year), we should add another 60 today and get to #2. Thanks to NZ, at 8.14am Sydney time there are now 80 votes for the CB Blog, only 6 behind the Dutch Clog Bloggers….
9.04am Sydney time: The CB Blog leapfrogs the Clog Bloggers to claim the #2 spot with 92 votes! Thanks New Zealand. Next target: to knock off the Sicilian Mafia (Adverblog, Italy), whose entire family of 212 have voted.
10.21am Sydney time: The CB Blog is a clear second with 125 votes (many from our Kiwi buddies), now a mere 88 votes behind The Don’s Blog in Palermo (A.K.A. Adverblog). Although the Northern Hemisphere is still asleep and as yet unaware of our dasdardly dawn attack. “A date which will live in Blogfamy” will no doubt be The Don’s reply later today. “I fear we have awaken a sleeping blog giant” will be Lynchy’s reply.
Hope you guys remember this next time there’s a vote for the Gay Olympics or something…
11.40am Sydney time: The CB Blog has now got 153 votes, only 60 votes behind Benito’s Blog (A.K.A. Adverblog). Suspect half of them from you guys in NZ. Keep your creative departments working on this — top priority. Add their timesheets to that big shoot for….
1.10pm Sydney time: Thanks to some terrific support this morning from CB Bloggers in Australia and New Zealand, the CB Blog has 194 votes (up from 71 this morning!), now a mere 19 votes behind Adverblog (213 votes).
Thanks to awesome support today from New Zealand, the CB Blog has leapfrogged the Indians, the Dutch and now the Italians and is now #1 with 233 votes, 19 votes ahead of long time leader Adverblog from Italy (214 votes).But you can bet the Vespa Riders will bounce back when the Italian ad boys and girls wake up in a few hours time. After a few espressos, they’ll realise the Aussies are kicking their ass and retaliate with every Italian Mama asked to help. (Lucky not too many have a computer, let alone how to use one). STOP BLOG! The bloody Italians have retaliated alright, adding mucho votes to their total overnight. They now have 280 votes, but are still 50 votes behind the CB Blog (330 votes). Expect a last day rush this Friday 10th Feb, so keep voting, even ask your families (you can bet the Sicilians are).
How in gods name do they always bloody know I’ve voted. I wish they’d do this in NZIdol, then those god botherers who have a huge supporting and loving community around to vote for them couldn’t win. I dream of the day a nice respectible white kiwi lad who’s Uncle couldn’t give a rats anus about him all year and can barely register the p smoking little shit at Christmas wins. I swear to god, if I didn’t have to fiddle my own son I’d be a god fearing man in a minute.
