Question isn’t who. It’s why? Why is this here? Hasn’t DDB done a shite VW ad we can grizzle about recently?
Yeah the gags were similar, but the agency’s ‘idea’ was to use that gag to make an ad with a releavant product and message. So what’s the big deal? Blackwood used the Haka in an ad. It’s been sued in ads heaps of times. Does that make their idea a rip off?
I think the only difference between the two is that I was able to get to the end of the original.
