“I think you’ll find this is what rugby is all about,” says Paul Taylor about this video on YouTube, in response to the recent ‘Kiwis to be stitched up by Adidas’ article on the blog.

I don’t think it detracts in any way from the Whybins work to say that that YouTube vid is fucking great.
The boy has got to watch his downwards pressure.
is Tony Veitch going to be presenting the next months awards?
Love it. You can’t beat real life.
that Joe with the Mullet there, Taylor?
Abo
yeah abo – there was a short lived mullet. i thought it was quite cool – his mother had it removed.
yes, it’s totally what rugby is all about!! individuals hogging the fucking ball!!
Nice.
I’ve got a cool idea for a poster… if you could just send me some samples of their urine please.
Joe Taylor ethos: pick up ball, run, score try, give thumbs up to Dad.
All Blacks ethos: Wake up (not before 11am), have someone at posh hotel come and knock on door and take you to breakfast. This person will also pour milk on your Weetbix for you because doing that yourself would require the ability for you to think for yourself.
Listen to another ‘specialist’ give dissertation on the correct angle in which to hold your Powerade in order to maximise hydration levels.
1st meeting of the day: watch videos of Sterling Mortlock scoring tries against All Blacks.
Shoot TVC for Weetbix. Complain to director about something, anything.
2nd meeting of the day: watch cool mash-up of best post-match interviews and brainstorm on what the best approach is to try and increase chances of securing an endorsement.
Read about your personal life in that Herald gossip column.
3rd meeting of the day: Discuss ideas on how to make meetings more efficient.
Practice lineout (2 should be enough, right guys?)
Gym: Have someone show you how to do a bicep curl (check notes on correct angle in which to hold your bottle of powerade)
Go back to hotel room (hopefully in time to watch TVC you shot last week).
Dinner: eat, complain to waiter, get pissed on red wine (beer is just like soooooo 1980s) get caught for drunk driving, blame it on the fact that you were roomed with Jimmy Cowan.
Abo is still alive. Fuck me.
11.51 – was it individuals hogging the ball when John Kirwan ran through the Italians in ’87 ? Should Lote Tuquiri stop and wait for Matt Dudding if he gets an intercept on Saturday? if you want be a negative sod, get back to slagging other peoples ads.
Sure thing. Where do I find you?
Sure thing? 1:45?
Wat You talking about?
