Isn’t this meant to be trans-Tasman? Were no New Zealanders available?
Nah. All playing in France.
Catman is a kiwi you prick. He proved that when he moved back here from the land of Oz
I’m confused. You’re saying he’s Australian?
Anyway, he can’t be a kiwi. He’s a CD.
Sunglasses? Check.
Glass of wine in hand? Check.
Pink shirt? Check.
‘Nuther photo for ya CB, just like the other 10,000.
What scares me is that that picture is probably not MEANT to be ironic
The photo may not be deliberately ironic, but it does say a lot about Mr Catmur. This is how he wants to be seen, as a sunglass wearing, wine-quaffing, shaker and mover.
Note the serious look on his face. This man means business, but not like other men mean business. Other men wear ties. Mr Catmur has opened his shirt right up to accentuate the difference. You can see the man tuft, and the man tuft is really important. While his fingers and hands look like they’ve never seen a hard day’s work in their live, the man tuft reaffirms his masculinity.
Then there’s the choice of colours that make up those slimming vertical stripes. Pink and white. That’s because Mr Catmur is not only a serious business man, but he’s also a ladies man. He has empathy. He has feelings. Oh yes, this man has a creative side.
Now, let’s imagine for a second what Mr Catmur has just said to the cameraman before this snap was taken. Imagine for a second that just before the camera clicked, Mr Catmur had just said, in a serious, understated, manly tone, with his thousand yard stare obscured behind those matrix-esque glasses…
“This is how I roll”.
What’s he shaken and moved in the last 24 months other than a stuffed crust?
Best comment.
Ever.
I don’t know about anyone else, but thanks to 8:44, this is the first time I’ve been genuinely scared of anyone on this blog. Security!
Bring back the hatred. The love is scary.
Or was that hate in love trousers?
Also worth noting is that he has a Porshe coming out his ear
Is that you at 8.44 Catmur?
Hasn’t he already chaired the Caxtons?
Who from NZ is planning to go to the Caxtons this year?
Let me know: michael@campaignbrief.com
