In your face Mr. Blah Blah.
Ashwin, manners!
The retouching in the VW ad is pretty basic. The shadow under the car was badly handled. It looks like a basic polygon shape filled with black, a blur added, and made to fit around the shape of the car.
Note to DDB studio: Must try harder. This should have been picked up.
Likewise, there are four lines of copy on the right-hand ad and only three on the left-hand ad? I’d love to know why.
And don’t even get me started on the kearning of the type. There are some things not even Indesign can automatically do.
For want of a better place to mention it, many redundancies at Aim on Friday.
A plain ad, a vanilla ad….
If you saw this in a student’s book would you give them a job?
“Vanilla”. Why do ad wankers all have to use the same buzz word of the year. A bunch of leader-following no-brainers.
Actually, the buzzwrod of the year is “redundancy”.
