Federation announces three new wins

Federation, the Agency started by former DDB managing directors Sharon Henderson and Murray Reid, is continuing its winning streak, announcin another three new business wins to add to its successes earlier this year.

The Feds have been appointed to handle all of the Australian business for existing New Zealand client Cavalier Bremworth. Murray Reid says: “Cavalier Bremworth is one of our foundation clients. This new appointment includes the brand, digital and media business for the Australian market. It’s great to see work going the other way for a change – getting New Zealand produced brand work into the Australian market.”

Federation has also just been appointed to handle all of the direct and digital marketing business for retail stationery giant, Warehouse Stationery.Sharon Henderson says: “It’s a substantial client with a serious focuson customer growth. We’re absolutely delighted to be partnering withWarehouse Stationery. It also means we’ll be working alongside ourfriends at M&C Saatchi.”

And with its third win, Federation is moving into the travel sector as the through-the-line agency for Accor Hotel group. Henderson says: “Accor Group includes the well-known hotel chains ofSofitel, Novotel, Ibis, Mercure and more. We’re no strangers to thetravel industry, having worked extensively with travel clients like AirNew Zealand in previous roles.”  The agency’s first work for thisclient, a B2B campaign, is about to launch shortly.

Henderson and Reid are optimistic about the year ahead: “We believethe industry in New Zealand is experiencing a shake-up with largeclients turning away from old traditional models in search of morenimble, results-oriented solutions – solutions like Federation.”
