Jay Benjamin, executive creative director for Leo Burnettwas on the jury for Australia. He said: “We had to cut the shortlist down big time becausethere were insights that weren’t real, ads that probably weren’t real, so thosewere all taken out and I think what we were actually left with was brilliant. It’s definitely a hard year for print, but that was why we were so brutal tomake sure that print is seen as a medium that you can do great work in, andhopefully we did that.”
