The New Zealand Book Council’s mission is to bring the magic of NewZealand literature to life for New Zealanders, through readings, recitals, school programmes, seminars and festivals.
This two minutefilm from Colenso BBDO, made by Andersen Studios in London, celebratesthe way ideas and books come to life at these festivals. The short willbe used to promote the readings and writing festivals and schoolprogrammes throughout the year.

Who are Andersen Studios, they sound sound really cool! Big ups
Are two of the turning pages intentionally identical?
I genuinely quite like the idea, just wondering if that’s a subtle intentional detail I’m not understanding.
Beautiful.
Absolutely stunning. Great job. But yeah I noticed the repeated page at the start too. Bummer to let a tiny mistake slip through on an otherwise perfect job!
Good to be working with such a cool London animation house.
Is book council a charity?
lovely
Visually stunning but in parts I found it hard to hear.
Should pick up many awards!
This is so good I plan to use it in new business presentations – especially when meeting with Colenso clients. It’s a pretty easy sell, telling someone their big fat fee is subsidising this kind of award chasing.
Two identical pages! Well done, folks… I would never have seen it. Obviously an error. We must have some train spotters out there.
My God, that’s good spotting. I never would have noticed.
Did this spot ever go to air?
What is the meaning of the previous comment? I think it is important.
