Barnes Catmur wins PAMS business
Foodstuffs NZ Ltd has awarded the advertising account for the PAMS business to Barnes Catmur and Friends.
General Manager for Foodstuffs Own Brands, Dave McAteer, says the company had been in discussions with DDB but both companies had decided that a working relationship was not tenable.
“As a result, we have now selected Barnes Catmur and Friends as our agency. We have been impressed with them and their work and we are looking forward to building the PAMS brand together.”
Daniel Barnes, Creative Managing Partner of Barnes Catmur, says they are thrilled to be working with Foodstuffs on PAMS. “It’s a great brand, it has done great work in the past and we’re looking forward to being part of its future.”
A new campaign is expected later in the year.

Nice wok Cat.
Not exactly a ringing endorsement is it as DDB were the preferred choice?
“working relationship not tenable” = not enough $$$. BC are a cheap alternative.
its an interesting ecological niche these guys are carving for themselves – industry hyena – scavenging clients off agencies due to conflicts.
Don’t know about ‘win’. More like got handed on a silver platter.
What a pack of bitter twats. Well done BC. You’ve got your own agency. And you’re winning business. Nice. Fuck the fuckwits.
Something to do with Watties wasn’t it?
Either way, whatever you grumpy lot (4.02, 5.03 & 5.09) think, I’m sure they’ll do a damn good job with it. Well done guys.
Bitter bastards – good score Catmur & Co!
