Clemenger Group partners with Auckland Festival
Auckland Festival has announced the appointment of Jim Moser (left), CEO Clemenger Group, to its Board of Trustees. As part of the Festival’s new relationship with Clemenger Group, Colenso BBDO becomes a Gold Sponsor of the 2011 Festival in return for advertising services.
Festival chief executive, David Inns says having Moser on the board, and Colenso BBDO for an agency partner provides the 2011 Festival with a huge amount of marketing expertise: “Our goal is to establish the Festival as the number one cultural event for Auckland and we are excited to be working with the likes of Jim Moser, and Colenso BBDO executive creative director Nick Worthington and his team, to make this happen.”
Moser has a strong history in supporting arts and creativity andprior to moving to New Zealand was involved with Opera Australia, theSydney Theatre Company (STC) and the Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA)in Australia. He also sits on the board of the National Institute for Dramatic Art(NIDA) – a world-renowned theatre training school that boasts the likesof Mel Gibson, Baz Luhrman and Cate Blanchet as alumni.
Says Moser: “The Festival is a celebration of creativity so it isthe perfect fit for Clemenger Group and Colenso BBDO. From what we’veseen the March festival looks to be the most exciting yet, and we lookforward to working with the festival team to make it a must-attendevent that Aucklanders are proud of.”

Bla bla bla. More importantly, why is CB Aus still diverting to a UK site?
