This is a pure piece of art! What a perfect sample of urban style! It attracts attention and it is clever enough to trust them (Rascals I mean) . Great job! Congratulations!
I’m all for it. Maybe it’s a bit close to the recent Ray Bans viral, but y’know, tattoos are forever and will always be shocking and all that.
I’d love to see Rascals kick ass, and if I ran a youth brand, they’d be all over it. But, man, I just don’t know how many local clients are ballsy enough to hand money over to a bunch of passionate young crazy bastards and just… see what happens.
Could someone with a badass liquor brand please give them a brief?
You tattooed your name on a guys head for publicity. Then realised nobody could see it, up there on his head. Then had to, after all that pain, do a billboard after all.
Grandad why do always wear that funny hairpiece?
Well son when I was younger some advertising twat thought it was a good idea to promote their agency by having me get their logo tattooed on my bald head, seemed like a wild idea at the time (and I made 500 bucks). Unfortunately I, like most men, started my terrifying journey into male pattern baldness during my early forties – around the time I wanted to not look like a complete fuckwit. Sadly having a caveman club and the word ‘rascals’ peeking through my thinning locks wasn’t really working for me. I couldn’t afford to have the tattoo removed as the $500 I was paid to get it done hadn’t parlayed into the $3000 needed to get it lasered off, so I started wearing a rug. It’s a pain in the arse whenever I go to Wellington and I can’t go swimming anymore but I hear those Rascals guys are doing quite well, you may have heard of them, Rascal & Rascal?
Saw the billboard and checked the site
So OBJECTIVE 1: Get attention ACHIEVED
BUT: I still don’t know who they are or what they do, so they’ve missed a few other important points to sell themselves.
Also, not sure about selling yourself as an IDEAS agency by re-hashing an old one.
Gives you the feeling that unless they get someone who can help them take their ideas and get them to deliver to client objectives they’re not going to make it for long.
Hopefully they’ll get the rest of the pieces in place, otherwise…
What is the point???????????? People driving past see a guy with the word Rascals tattoed on his forehead. I’m not sure anyone will have a clue what the hell the billboard is meant to be communicating/advertising and most people won’t even notice the website in the corner. At best a publicity stunt that will be noticed by a few people in advertising…

Brilliant!
Ballsy way to launch! Looking forward to their next piece of work.
Golden palace casino, Bum fights….. Not sure how this is going to get them any clients with money.
Madness!
Ditty 10.28. Not a good look if they want to survive in business. Time to grow up if you want to play wit the big boyz.
you’re wrong its awesome
Would be interesting to see where it lands them.. Good luck to them, balsy move!
The big boys are dicks. Rascals will do better for themselves by not copying the ‘big boyz’.

I’m a client, I wouldn’t touch them with a bargepole.
Their website is nearly as bad as that Running With Scissors abomination a couple of years ago.
The puppets have come out to play.
possibly should have had some mention of what they actually do on it.
what a pile of shit.
Um… so some guy had their logo tattooed on his head and then they took a picture and put it on a billboard. Wow.

What a waste of ink.
Pathetic, taking such cruel advantage of a clearly retarded person.
Shame on you ‘Rascalz’ or whatever you call yourselves.
I saw an ad 8/9 years ago in the agency’s directory of the agency name tatooed on a guy’s shoulder. I think it was for Colenso
11:34 they’re not actually that young.
Fap fap fap fap fap. 100% pure wank. Good luck getting clients.

Ok, so I’m not enamoured with the tattoo thing (though it’s probably working thanks to blog types like us)… but well done on the website! Fresh.
All of the above.
Nuff said.
