However for a lot of people they have other commitments that mean they might potentially miss a game.
To avoid disappointment, DDB New Zealand created an ad that helps people stay home so they’ll never miss a minute.

Been done a million times but best of all by their own agency with Smirnoff Half Day Off.
I think it’s called recycling.

I’ll definitely be cutting that sick note out of this month’s Sky magazine… because seeing that old revamped idea again has made me all nauseous.
5:25. Excuse my stupidity bro, but how is it like Smirnoff exactly? Just because it gives people an excuse to play hooky doesn’t make it the same idea. That’s a bit of a reach. This is a press ad. It’s simple, funny and I bet half the people who saw it in the Sunday papers (myself included) seriously contemplated cutting out the doctors note. Credit where it’s due I reckon. Go the All Whites!!!!!
I tried to use it but the newspaper articles on the back gave it away.
Then I got fired.
Thanks a lot.
Lotto circa 1993. And again during Lowe days.
“Watch all 64 games live on Sky”
Games are live from about 11pm to 8.30am.
Most people work outside those hours.
Granted, it would be hard to work after watching football all night. But still.
Nice one guys.
Bet they thought of it cos Little Jack Horner in his corner over there on Greys Ave demands sick notes from all the creatives.
Been done…. so many times
Do you mean big Jack Horner?
Here’s one for all you full-on footy fans out there:
