Media Design School students scoop both student awards at NAB Awards last night
Media Design School students Ed Knowles and Charles Twaddle’s campaign for AMI insurance, which used the newspaper medium to show the kind of accidents that could happen when your nose is buried behind a broadsheet, won the main student prize at the 2010 NAB awards last night.

Also celebrating last night (with a swift round of Bundaberg GingerBeer) were Media Design School students Jono Fox and Jack Delmontewhose sober look at the news-sensitive story of the 2010 school ballseason took out the topical ad prize.
Congratulations also due to another MDS team, Emily Drake and SarahLitwin-Schmid, whose finalist work for the NAB competition was alsoselected by judges on the ANNOS site for their global student designcompetition, and as a result their work has been appearing up on thebig screen all this week in Melbourne’s Federation Square as part ofVictoria’s State of Design Festival.
