Leo Burnett Melbourne a finalist for Radio Lotus

adfestlogo.pngLeo Burnett Melbourne is one of nine finalists in the Radio category ofAdfest for Seek’s ‘If it exists’, which was shortlisted in the campaignfor best of public and private services. VIEW THE SHORTLIST HERE.No Australian or New Zealand-based directors were in the three spotsshortlisted in the New Director Lotus. However, Luscious InternationalSydney’s Ant McPhail was one of the Fabulous Four for his short filmRefresher Towel Abluto. The Commentation went to Yas Shimizu of CrampKAZ Productions for Sleeping Man. Every year, AdFest invites four youngdirectors from around the region to create four short films based on aparticular theme. This year’s theme is ‘REFRESH’. McPhail, who is partof Viscious, a directors’ collaborative atLuscious International, initially studied Photography and Design atCOFA before majoring in Digital Production & Post Production.Adfest winners will be announced on Monday July 26. The festival wasoriginally scheduled to take place in Pattaya, Thailand in March butrelocated to Tokyo.
