Film Construction and Digipost host New Zealand Creative Showcase in Tokyo

The best of the Tokyo advertising and film production industries turned out to the New Zealand Creative Showcase, jointly presented by Auckland-based Film Construction and Digipost.

The New Zealand awareness and networking event, put together by Film Construction’s Japanese Producer, Migiwa Ozawa, was held this week at Onion Inc, in the heart of Tokyo city. The event was hosted by Ms Ozawa, along with Film Construction executive producer Ron Redel and Digipost general manager, Stephen Douglas.

“We were honoured to have such a great turn-out”, says Douglas. “It isnot often you find such a mix of Tokyo advertising and film people inone place, and it was great to be able to talk about our capabilitiesdirectly with key industry players.”

Ms Ozawa adds, “It was our privilege to showcase New Zealand’s creativetalent to our friends in Tokyo.  There is great potential for Japaneseand New Zealand companies to do business and we look forward to workingtogether on many projects.”

The evening was supported by Filmscouts New Zealand, Air New Zealand and New Zealand Trade and Enterprise.
