Help me. What New Zealand’s youth are really saying with their actions.A campaign for Brothers In Arms Youth Mentoring via Ogilvy, Auckland.
With the help of local taggers, the ‘Help me wall’ received local and national coverage press coverage and Brothers In Arms received a stream of new youth mentors.

My initial reaction is that graffiti, unlike wrist slitting, is not a cry for help.
Well 7:48 this may have taught you something eh?
‘Help me’ carved into a teenaged forearm… just brilliant.
Nice work Matty and Freddie
How fast did they tag over it?
Is it an ad to get mentors or an ad to get kids to write what they really feel?
Nice work.
I really like it but I also keep on thinking whether it’s too close to the Mizone print campaign from L Premutico circa 2002.
8:09 Yeah I’m sure the target market’s thinking exactly that as they walk past this.
That Mizone campaign with the appropriated street sign still makes my composition glands ache. Eeuwggg.
Nice work Matt!
Solid work, think it works for the dual audience: the kids and the people who misunderstand them.
Why does every Ashwin Gopal comment seem like a PR company branding exercise? I bet he doesn’t even write his own comments.
Brief: We want the Ashwin Gopal brand to stand for positivity, support, we want him to become an icon for Gen Y creativity, a new breed of positive leaders. The Ashwin brand is all about the personal touch, likeability, hope. You don’t have to be the best, you just have to try your best.
Could someone who works with him make an Obama hope poster with his face please.
