Air New Zealand, via agency .99 Auckland has created two risque online videos to promote its new 777-300 planes, which commence operation in April 2011.
The spots, produced by Jim Henson’s Creature Shop and Curious Film, feature Rico, a well-meaning, budding travel author whose comments are full of unintentional innuendos.

I fucking hate .99 – a personal thing! But I fucking love these spots. Good on you fuckers whom I hate.
Stick to retail you muppets.
what was was wrong with using weta? just needed the trip to london..
They should have saved money on the muppet and just hired Paul Henry. He’s got more innuendo than you can shit a dick with.
Blow Job gags (zing) and Henson. I’m Sold

*prrrrrrrrrrrp*
Fucking funny = awesome
Is it a cat or a fox? What about the rapey eyes in the touch screen spot!
A randy animal and a blow up sex doll. Great look Air NZ, great look.
I guess rob fyfe was unavailable for this one…….no need for him to take his shirt off. amazing how they go from inspiring journeys and an inspirational brand to this……and its with the same agency(ok .99 is still part of the colenso group).I agree with 8;41 great look Air NZ Im so proud of our national airline when I see this!
What with these and the blow up doll I’m quickly losing my loyalty to Air NZ. What are they thinking?!
No surprise the account is being pitched, the agency has clearly run out of ideas.
Not sure if the idea is right for the brand. The school boy humor is Paul Henry lame. But that aside, the talent is the real stinker. Where did they go for casting? A community theatre group. Fail.
Kinda like the All Blacks doing the Chicken Dance at the start of their tests…
With the naked crew in the last ones & now this B-grade inuendo – bring back Benny Hill all is forgiven.
This is such a rip-off as an earlier commenter pointed out. Shame on you .99 Auckland. Or did AirNZ rock in and say “We’d like you to rip off a successful ad campaign in another country and use it for us”? I doubt it. Go back to school you vacuous no-talent numpties.
