Prodigy’s Felicity Morgan-Rhind shoots The King’s Collection TV campaign for Burger King
Prodigy’s Felicity Morgan-Rhind has stayed true to form in her recent move to shoot food, creating a series of mouth-watering, sumptuous new spots for Burger King.
Combiningher first-rate culinary skills and comprehensive understanding of foodwith her strong visual sense and inherent knack for appetite appeal, the NZ director has successfully channeled her fervour for food into asexy, sophisticated and good enough to eat campaign that gives the fastfood giant just the makeover it needed.
You can also look out for her charming, stop-frame animated TVC for Wonder White & Nature’s Fresh (out of Publicis Mojo NZ), and her rather saucy new ads for Air New Zealand (out of LA’s 72andSunny), coming soon. Contact: cara@prodigyfilms.com

Who would PR this and why?
Boring. That’s not getting me to switch from maccas.
Nicely shot.
Why bother shooting this? Don’t they have a library of food shots just like this they could have assembled it from?
Given that, it is well-shot and the food looks good. The ad shows no added value from strategy, planning or creative, so all it has is what the director gave it. The feeble joke about ‘shot it in slow motion’ adds neither value or a smile.
I actually felt sick watching this. Macca’s does it better, sorry.
Maybe they just don’t make it look so… overwhelmingly saucy. Blergh.
“So good we shot it in slow motion”….
Whiskey Tango Foxtrot……
Not only no agency credits, no mention of the agency name. If I was them I wouldn’t want to stick my hand up either.
Tough client eh? Very limited creative or strategic vision.
“We sell burgers, show burgers. And remember our audience are morons, not marketing geniuses like us.
No, of course we don’t eat it, we live in Mt Eden…”
BK. Lowe had a celebration party when they left. Says something.
Lowe no longer exists here. Says something more.
more or the same, even the catch line about slo mo is ripped from another ad. seen this about a million times it’s just a generic ad
