Colenso BBDO snares top planner from \TBWA
Colenso BBDO has snared Andy McLeish from \TBWA Auckland to the role of senior planner.
At \TBWA McLeish was the senior strategic planner working with ASB, Sovereign Insurance, The Radio Network, Adidas and Mercury Energy. With a 15 year career on the client side, he held a variety of marketing roles finishing up as acting head of marketing at NZ Lotteries before making the switch to the agency side.
Colenso BBDO planning director, James Hurman, says Andy brings with him the winning combination of applied marketing knowledge and creative aspiration: “Andy used to be my client and he really got the value of creativity and constantly inspired us to think in more original and adventurous ways.”
Adds McLeish: “I’ve always admired Colenso and it’s great to have the chance to work with many of the best people and most interesting brands in New Zealand.”

Much loved by Lotteries when he was there and by DDB when he was ‘acting’ head of marketing. Not.
lovely smile.
Nasty passport photo.
Yuh. There must be a hundred million total bastards working in advertising, yet you guys decide to hate on Andy M – one of the few genuinely nice guys in the inductsy. Retards.
Congrats, Andy, they’re lucky to have you.
