Saatchi’s wins rural insurance company FMG
New Zealand’s leading rural insurance company FMG has confirmed the appointment of Saatchi & Saatchi Wellington as their new creative campaign agency. The announcement comes after an extensive pitching process that saw four agencies short-listed, including Hawkes Bay incumbent Tracta.
Chris Black, FMG’s Chief Executive was quick to praise the agency’s approach and response.
“FMG has a significant history and a compelling future as a market leader within New Zealand and Saatchi & Saatchi immediately understood that. We connected instantly with their team and their creative pitch was exciting and compelling.”
Livia Esterhazy, General Manager S&S Wellington was unequivocal in stating the agency’s reaction to the news.

With a clever name like Tracta (get it, like Tractor only spelled differently … genius) you’d have thought FMG would have stayed with them realising that even though they can’t spell they’re obviously really in touch with rural Noo Zlnd (get it, like New Zealand only spelled phonetically … genius).
