Hallensteins: Brothers have each other’s back
December 6 2010, 11:12 am | | 22 Comments
After the recent Christchurch earthquake Hallensteins gave away over $100,000 of clothes free, no strings attached, to the men of the region. The reason? Simple. Brothers have each other’s back.
This TVC, via Publicis Mojo Auckland, is the next installment in the Hallenstein Brothers story.

Not bad, better than the wallpapery bollocks that Shine served up anyway.
Hopefully that unpleasantness is behind us all now and mojo can go back to doing the work for hallensteins that everyone loved.
Nice…
I actually really like this. I like the music, the treatment, the story – its really cool.. only thing is i forget its for hallensteins…
At last, an ad out of Mojo Auckland. It been along time between drinks guys.
Go the bro’s!
Wow… Sleigh Bells on a Hallensteins spot.
First Nick cave now one of the hottest indie bands in the U.S…
Hipsters in our agencies. It’s a proud day.
Great pictures & killer track. Job done guys
Lovely jubbly.
I quite liked the work Shine had done, it was an improvement on the work Hallensteins had done in the past. I like the track used here, but what fashion retail brand uses black and white? I’m amazed the client signed that off.
3.37 um – Guess Jeans ? they do some quite nice black and white and they’re a bit fashiony. did you learn that ‘rule’ at adschool? idiot
Love that track. The whole thing reeks of cool.

Nice one Leo!
I love (_love_) Sleigh Bells, but what happened to the tradition of using NZ bands in Hallensteins-Glassons ads? Always made me look up during the ads when I’d hear something classic like Superette.
Horrid track, makes me reach for the mute button.
AMAZING!
if i was a dude id be shopping there….
p.s take off the human type checker, its fucking impossible to work out….

The “tradition” of using NZ bands was actually a cut-price deal with Flying Nun’s previous owners, I believe, rather than a display of patriotism.
Hey guys, just putting it out there but i’d really prefer it if they’r used a local drum’n’bass track instead. Drum’n’bass in New Zealand is something we can all be so proud of and to see it on an ad for cool clothes would be moonbeams.
I like it, good job.
now you should work out Lion after thats speights dribble
Ugh, terrible.
Ugh, bestads fool
