Droga5 takes out the November NAB Newspaper Ad of the Month for ASB ‘Creating Futures’
Droga5 Auckland has won the November NAB Newspaper Ad of the Month for their ‘Tree’ ad from a series created by young designers who worked with the agency to interpret ASB’s ‘Creating Futures’ manifesto. The designers were credited on the ads with details to their own sites, helping them to create their own future fame.
The November Ad of the Month judges were Connan James – TBWA Whybin and Karen Maurice-O’Leary FreshPR. Says the judges: “This campaign worked beyond the normal conventions of a press ad by actually showcasing ‘future famous’ designers’ craftsmanship, giving them valuable space and exposure. Nicely done!”

Droga5’s winning creative team will receive $250 cash with the adsponsored by the NAB into the 2011 Axis Awards. The ad also appears inthe “What’s New” section of AdMedia and becomes a Finalist in the 2011$10,000 Newspaper Ad of Year competition.
