don’t do it!
Here’s my speculation on how the speech at Saatchis will go:
We’ve been through a really exciting year at Saatchi and Saatchi. We’ve had the arrival and departure of one Creative Director, which was…. interesting, and we can now look forward to the arrival of a (probably pommy) CD who knows nothing about New Zealand, but can make great filums, and likes to talk and talk. And talk.
And change is a great thing. But it is unsettling for clients. Clients like certainty. They like the people who are working on their business to stay working on their business. But that can’t always be the case. Our friends at NZ Post are looking for a new agency. We applaud that move. That gives us a great new opportunity to shine in front of them and show them who we really are. Because they don’t know who we are. In fact, most of you have never met them before. But I hear from the people who used to work on their business that they are really nice people.
So everyone, have a great Christmas break. And boy, that Tui work has really set the world alight! The blogs won’t stop talking about it.
12:07 – I’m pretty sure that’s not how the speech would go. Nice try though.
You have to be doing work to warrant a pitch don’t you?
What a pointless post 12.07. Admittedly all the people involved have left, but the ‘send and you shall receive’ campaign wellington did for them was about as good as you’ll ever get in the way of advertising a postal company.
12:07 – You sound more than a little bitter. Been burned lately, have we?
Go again the cult!
