New Zealand Production Hub rocks Morningside

Well…they did it. The Morningside Hub teamed up some of New Zealand’s top musicians with amazing projected graphics, film and photography, and arranged delicious food, cocktails, wine and beer to give us an unforgettable show on Friday evening.

The white dome of VnC cocktails and the aromatic smells of Langos Hungarian Bread greeted guests accompanied with sounds from The Calico Brothers from the stage. As the sun glowing on the art deco building in Morningside disappeared, the projections placed inside and outside the building started revealing film footage put together by Automatic Films director Greg Woods and shots by Collective Force photographers. The 9 separate performances organised by Native Tongue Music Publishing and Arch Hill Recordings elicited more applause from the growing crowd which Don McGlashan drew closer to the stage prior to the Drab Doo Riffs rocking the party towards the end of the evening.

All the companies involved, which also included Our Production Team and DMG,  were chuffed with the event. ‘It’s hard to find much that we could have done differently’ says Christina Force, ‘the ambience was so lovely and we had the perfect mix of people from music, advertising, design and film industries and some awesome sponsors. Special thanks also go to Ripe Delicatessen and Sacred Hill Wine.’
