Become someone’s angel this Christmas with the Auckland City Mission and Publicis Mojo
Christmas is the busiest time for the Auckland City Mission. And donations to their Christmas Appeal ensure Christmas happens for those in need. To make donators feel as important as they really are by turning them into angels, Publicis Mojo Auckland spread the city with angel wings, designed by local artist Flox, through posters, ambient stickers, print, and stencils.
People are instructed to take pictures of themselves lining up with the wings they find. Then, by posting the picture on the Auckland City Mission Facebook page, a sponsor will donate $5 on their behalf.

♥ This idea – not
I really like this idea – especially with the bus shelter wings. But for the love of God, learn to use your apostrophes.
“Become someone’s angel”
Note: I am referring the TVC, not the article headline, which got it right.
Cute, nice idea. Seen it round, looks good.
Love it how the Publicis Digital guys have such lofty job titles. A deliberate ploy to fool clients into believing there’s more than just the three of them? Tsk tsk tsk.
5.57 – If you think they are lofty titles, I’d hate to see yours.
Fancy job title = got talked out of a pay rise. No thanks, I’ll have the money.
Oh hai. Glad you asked. The reason we have those job titles are: I’m a Creative Director and I work for Publicis Digital, so I’m a Digital CD. Jeremy is an Art Director who works in Digital, so yep, he’s a Digital Art Director. And Rochelle, she’s a Producer of Digital stuff, and she’s quite Senior, so she’s a Senior Digital Producer.
Not sure how all this relates to loftiness or trying to pull wool… Anyone?
Meantime, in the real world: I am a big fan of this sweet wee idea — it’s succinct, interesting, involving, multidimensional, tells a story, and has people raising money for the Mission and having fun. I am very proud of Jake and Sok for their ideation and the rest of the crew for making it happen — and the Mission for being great at spotting strong ideas, and helping real people in need.
End of story, really; so instead of wasting another ten minutes scraping the bottom of your mental barrel for another shitty, jealous, snarky, pottymouthed, angry or small-minded comment, why not use it to go do some good somewhere?
Nice one Greg – and well done Jake and Sok.
Great work mojo, and great comment greg!
Greg you are brilliant.
please say ‘thinking’ instead of ‘ideation’. ideation sounds a bit wanky.
“Ideation” — I said that? Shit. Sorry. Won’t happen again.
