CASE STUDY: In this integrated campaign via DDB New Zealand, McDonald’s new limited edition chicken range is ‘so tasty it sells itself’. That being said, they don’t really need a spokesman. Which is a shame for their spokesman, Shane Warne. Or Wayne Bourne. Or whoever the hell he is.

Suspiciously smooth skinned, expensively knitted barnet, sympathetic lighting, tea-stain tan.. Warney looks better than he did at 25.
My god, this was ad overkill at the recent Ashes test in Adelaide: it seemed like the old lag was up on the big screen after every ball. There’s only one word for him these days.. ubiquitous.

2.11 You forgot gets caught in ‘sex scandal’ with ‘has been’ model to boost Ad/TV sales…oh, how the mighty have fallen
Isn’t he boning Liz Hurley now?
These must have been the most stupid online display ads I’ve seen, who uses mouse cursors and ‘loading’ screens on ads, very 1999.
Yip, he is totally banging Liz Hurley. All over the UK papers.
High five Shane you dick.
How appropriate that DDB would choose Warnie as a role model.
Warne is the biggest skank of our time.
He has rooted his way through cricket in the most publicly embarassing way.
He takes drugs to lose weight so what’s an extra burger or 2 or 10 from Macca’s eh?
Thousands wouldn’t have him, DDB would. No surprises there.
But hard not to think that Warnie would be better suited to a safe sex campaign than burgers with mayonaise dressing.
I bet he’s got Hurley’s burger covering his face as well.
