Having premiered at Melbourne and New Zealand International Film Festivals in 2010, this latest acceptance locks another milestone on the film’s journey.

An evocative 19min portrayal of the high profile robbery and murder of liquor storeowner Navtej Singh, Manurewa explores the layers of circumstance that led to the shooting that day. The story unfolds as a powerful observation of how simply events and emotions can get out of control and evolve into a fatal situation.
