Curious Film premieres ‘A Force of Nature, the David Suzuki Story’ tonight at the Rialto

Curious has partnered with award-winning scientist and activist, David Suzuki, in a film distribution initiative that will help the planet and those affected by recent environmental events.

At Auckland’s Rialto Newmarket, tickets have already sold out for the first New Zealand screening of ‘FORCE OF NATURE: The David Suzuki Story’, which takes place tonight.

The documentary celebrates the life, work and legacy of David Suzuki.

However, because one film print alone can travel up to 1000 miles during its theatrical lifespan, Curious is inviting audiences to organise their own digital DIY charity screenings of the film following tonight’s premiere at the Rialto Newmarket. This will significantly reduce the film’s environmental footprint in line with Curious’ mandate to be a carbon zero production company.

“By making the film available digitally, we are encouraging concerned individuals, environmental agencies and organisations, schools and community leaders to inform and educate audiences to make a difference and help those affected by the flood, fire and cyclone events across the country,” says Michael Wrenn, from Curious.

In FORCE OF NATURE, 74 year-old David Suzuki looks back on his life in a heart-felt distillation of his life’s work, which offers up a blueprint for sustainability and survival.
