Bradbourne, Vicars, Cochran and Hurman tipped to represent New Zealand at Cannes in June

While the ad industry awaits news of who will be representing NZ at Cannes this year – the list of Aussies was released February 27 – CB hears of at least four names that are being mentioned:
After the massive Cannes Grand Prix winning success of Orcon+Iggy last year, it’s a fair bet that Tony Bradbourne (top left) at Special Group has either got the Direct Lions gig or Promo Lions; and Simon Vicars at DDB is believed to have scored the Radio Lions gig.
CB hears Colenso BBDO has two picked for jury duty: Steve Cochran is believed to have the Promo & Activation jury spot and planning director James Hurman (top right) looks good for the inaugural Creative Effectiveness jury.
No doubt there will be more representing NZ – an official confirmation from Fairfax – NZ’s Cannes representative – is expected in the coming days.
