Following on from the last Stihl TVC called ‘Bequeathed’. This commercial, via DDB New Zealand and directed by Adam Stevens via Robber’s Dog, continues the story of the two brother’s love affair with their father’s chainsaw.

Really, really well executed. Idea falls flat compared to the deathbed one though
nah – it’s heaps funnier than the other one.
Almost as good as the Flying Doctor ‘Real Bad’ XXXX beer ad done in the 80’s that it bears an eerie similarity to.
