DDB swims off with Newspaper Ad of the Month
DDBhas won the NAB’s April Newspaper Ad of the Month with a powerful watersafety message for the Coastguard. M&C Saatchi’s latest ad in itsseries for Warehouse Stationery ‘Spilt Coffee’ received a HighlyCommended acknowledgment.
The April Ad of the Month judges wereTony Clewett – DraftFCB, Richard Loseby – Ogilvy and Crispin Schuberth- Barnes Catmur & Friends.
Commenting on the winning ad the judges said “…it ran prior to one ofworst weather days so very pertinent timing. The haunting nature of themessage lent itself to newspapers’ brooding newsprint imagery.”
