New York Festivals super jury gets tough – expect fewer but bigger ideas and only one Grand Prix
TheNew York Festivals jury, probably the heaviest bunch of chief creativeofficers ever assembled for an award show, has promised a tough show,with metal awarded to only a fraction of the entries, and only oneGrand Prix – as opposed to up to 10 in previous years.
The goodnews for Australia is that we’re #2 to the USA in terms of metal, andthere is an Australian connection to the Grand Prix winning work. Allwill be revealed Thursday night at the award show at Skylight West inNew York.
The all-star jury (pictured by CB last night thrashingout the Grand Prix decision) all agreed the New York Festivals thisyear has made a significant move to only award the very best whichshould see the show attract the respect of the best agencies – and aqueue from the top people in the world to be on next year’s jury.
