Just got out of a terribly boring client meeting. My brain is fried. But, what I do know is that ‘Bugger ‘ kills this spot – 12/13 years on. Maybe there’s a smart online component. But then again, maybe not. It is DDB after all.
Well I wish I’d done it. And, deep down, I suspect the DDB hater who posted the last comment, wished they’d done it too. DDB don’t appear to make shit ads anymore (unless you count the Warehouse). Consistency wise, they are Manchester United. Respect man.
Just got out of a terribly amazing client lunch. My brain is fried. But, what I do know is that ‘Einstein’s theory of relativity ‘ kills your comment – 105/106 years on. Maybe there’s a smarter online comment coming. But then again, maybe not. It is Anonymous after all.
nicely shot, and directed… but i have no idea what the idea behind this was
Get off the pipe you bitter rookie.
Jesus. They are so very clearly NOT TRYING to do “Son of bugger”. Watch it again and pay attention.
8.44am Toby, is that you?
Toby is a Chelsea fan. Doubtful.
It is neither clever nor funny. It just is. Perhaps it was a hard brief.
SCIENCE!!!
isn’t drifting like a cross between a 98 skyline and a sack of spuds the last thing a farmer needs from a credible ute in a wet paddock? isn’t the challenge for VW to be taken seriously by urban ute owners the idea that it’s as good as or better then navarra and hilux down on the farm? Perhaps DDB’s planning and creative dept need to get out of their sneakers and heels and into some redbands to follow a bit of Bill Bernbach’s advice: “Know your product inside and out before you start working. And relate that knowledge to the consumer’s needs”.
