Share the Joy is a project aiming to create a song made entirely out of New Zealand’s sounds of joy.
Over the past 6 months DDB New Zealand has been collecting sounds from all over the country.
Now, with a little help from Bobby McFerrin, the agency is taking all of these joy samples and turning them into the first Glass and a Half Full Production made by an entire nation.

Well I’m going to jump in before all the haters. I really like it. Saw Bobby McFerrin on a TED talk. Expected to hate him but couldn’t. The guy’s a genius. Not sure this ad shows what he’s fully capable of though. Got to say, it’s really different for DDB too. Should do well at Cannes I reckon.
This is an ad, or an awards show entry? It’s kind of hard to tell.
It’s a TV ad AND an awards video. Saw it on air last nite. Beats all the Yellow Tree House (& chocolate) ads in my opinion. The Yellow ads were all terrible but the awards videos were really awesome. That’s the difference between Colenso and DDB in a nutshell. Colenso do ads for themselves. DDB do them for their clients. Discuss.
No I won’t discuss. And stop trying to think you’re being clever. You aren’t.
How about having sex with a donkey? Discuss.
2:13 you are a dufas-dork-head. Discuss.
calling the ad a kind of awards video is a compliment in this instance. because this is one of those rare campaigns that is actually big enough to need such an introduction, so people can become a part of it as it rolls on.
nice change in this age of awards videos for print ads with QR codes.
