Seems the more successful the creative, the less successful the campaign….
The campaign was good… but the best work in out of NZ over the last year? I think this perfectly illustrates the cultural bias of some of these big shows…the subject matter was yank history. Would it have picked up if it was about the ANZACS? I doubt it…
Well it’s much better work than anything DDB has produced all year.
Love to see the look on the DDB creative dept faces when they hear about this latest award for Colenso. Going by the look on their faces at AXIS when Colenso wiped the floor with them, it won’t be pretty.
Someone’s ego at Greys Ave will need a lot of stroking and pacifying over this.
FFS Campaign Brief. You did not need to edit the comment at 7:19.
In doing so you changed a genuine opinion and true observation made by many on AXIS night.
Yet again you show your bias towards one agency and its favoured few over others.
By making that edit, you confirmed that someone has a bloody fragile ego indeed. Pathetic. Grow some balls and show some some fucking impartiality.
Or is that too hard for reasons we can only guess at?
Colenso rocks.
And DDB are cocks.
