Freelance copywriter Glenn Wood scores two book publishing deal with Walker Books in OZ
Well-known Auckland-based freelance writer Glenn Wood has has just scored a two book publishing deal from Walker Books in Australia.
This was based on the publication of a children’s chapter book he sent them called ‘The Manners Thief’ (aimed at 9-12) year olds. The book will be published mid next year with a second as yet untitled book following in 2013.
Wood told CB: “This is big news for me as it is a very tough publishing climate at the moment and Walker Books are the largest player in the Australasian market with their parent company in the UK. They also have acclaimed NZ children’s book writers Joy Cowley and Margaret Mahy on their author’s list.”
