Westpac are celebrating 150 years in New Zealand by giving 150 new babies a big head start in life. Launching the campaign is a new TVC from .99 and Robber’s Dog, showing Kiwi babies and what they might grow up to be. Blockhead was responsible for the visual effects, creating a variety of effects to bring the playful palette of scenarios to life.
Registrations and ongoing activity for Westpac’s Gen W campaign will be housed on Facebook, at facebook.com/genw

Beautiful!
So Westpac and ASB are both in the business of Creating Futures?
I think you’ll find that all banks are in the business of creating futures 4.33 that’s why people have savings accounts. I bet you had to think long and hard before coming up with that little gem.
Nice idea, beautifully executed. Good stuff .99
creating futures making the most of life building communities building families for the places you’ll go
While they were busily coming up with this they well and truly missed the helping Christchurch boat unlike ANZ.
Now I wait for Peth to comment.
who’s voiceover is that? it’s killing me. i know who it is, but can’t put my finger on it.
You’ll probably find the Westpac Rescue Helicopter service did a pretty good job there when Christchurch needed them the most, not to mention all the support they’ve put in place starting with the very first quake in 2010. If you’re loyal to ANZ good on you. Anyone who steps up for Christchurch should be commended, just like anyone who creates a nice piece of work deserves the same respect.
@10:07: What Peth said.
@11:12, the VO is me. Feel free to praise/deride as you see fit.
so is it bye bye colenso? Considering they can’t even spell Westpac correctly on their website… maybe?
It’s a bit all over the place… as a customer i have to say i’m rather confused.
Absolutely charming.
Westpac shakey at Colenso? Rumours appear to be true if 99 are now doing this sort of work.
