CAANZ & Flying Fish Battle of the Ad Bands 2011 announce the wildcard will be One Hit Wonders
The Battle of the Ad Bands committee has decided on a theme for this year’s Wildcard song: One Hit Wonders.
Opinions will be varied on what exactly makes a One Hit Wonder, arguments will arise, and anonymous will undoubtedly have their say but the committee are not too bothered by that. They chose a few songs and drew them randomly out of a hat. Here’s who will be playing what:

Oh what I’d give to play House of the Rising Sun. I’d like to have a word with that hat; it’s a cruel piece of fashion.
Some of these songs are from bands that are so far away from being one hit wonders I’m frankly amazed. And this is probably the first time I’ve ever used the word ‘frankly’. That’s how serious this is.
