M&C Saatchi New Zealand joins forces with NZ Fire Service for personal print campaign
Fire strikes randomly. No-one ever expects it. So M&C Saatchi New Zealand designed ads for the NZ Fire Service to do the same.
Each one ‘struck’ a single person. Paul. Or Nicola. Or Marama. Then they explained the chances of a fire occurring tonight were higher than the chances of their name coming up on the ad.
So if one happened, and the chance of the other happening is more likely, they’d better install a smoke alarm. Pronto.

Ok, I will, I promise… just dont burn me.
I likes it.
Nice.
i like these ads.
Nice enough, but a proofread would have helped.
If you’re going to write some nice copy, the least you can do is proof it. The ‘But’ near the bottom shouldn’t be capitalised in the middle of that sentence as it follows a comma.
Nice idea. Nicely written too. But I agree, some basic proofreading would have helped. What are the odds Paul will notice? Slim, but it could happen.
It’s not what we’re writing, it’s how.
