Very nice. Hard to do something new in this category, so well done. Nice to see a billboard that actually is a billboard rather than a long copy ad as well.
Interestingly, the client thinks it’s called “Roadsafe (one word) Hawke’s Bay” Silly client!
Did they even SEE these ads? Surely, they’d notice their own name being wrong? http://www.hbrc.govt.nz/Council/Contacts/tabid/55/Default.aspx (scroll down)
Maybe the next execution should be the Scamaro?
the car into car is the clever bit, the line is a bonus, still valid to me.
And as for the Road safety vs RoadSafety call, you my friend are a piece of garbage.
PPP party, these are obviously your ads. You’ve fallen in love with your own idea that’s been before, that’s fine. I was offering an opinion, which I think is valid. You’ll see that this will be reflected in any awards shows you enter. Save the cash. You won’t be winning anything for craft I’m afraid. Make room for a bronze for best idea done before. Guten tag.
I still like it. C’mon, it’s not like the headline’s more than one word! The art direction enhances it. The ‘showroom’ floor reflection is sweet. Lovely simple copy down the bottom. Nice. Nice. Nice.
Wrong Party Poopa, these aren’t my ads but I wouldn’t mind if they were. I also was offering an opinion and I’ll offer it again… You know nothing. Back to your Harvey Norman’s flyers laddie.
Wouldn’t these have been side impacts if it was at an intersection? These would be more realistic if it were warning motorists not to reverse up a motorway at 100 into traffic going 250.

Nice idea guys. Love the copy too.
Brilliant.
Very nice, well done.

Didn’t know they were a client – look forward to more work for them.
Nice ads and idea, but feel slightly let down by the art direction. Headline or visual, not both maybe. Feels like the collision of two treatments.
Be proud, fellas. Especially for your perseverance. Damo, will you be wearing your stripy Damo-pants at BOTAB tonight? I’ve got money on it.
@party poopa, that’s what I like about it, take one away,, neither options as good.
on ya Ogilvy
Hey! We want some Pegler!

yes, that’s awkward.
Just cars is visually way more interesting. Line is overkill, typography not great and looks like just line done anyhoo.
Party poopa, these are great as they are. You know nothing. Back to your Harvey Norman’s flyers laddie.
10:56 makes all other comments redundant. Seems Colenso is good at doing that.

Hmmm, looks a bit like two ideas rolled in to one. Cars I haven’t seen before, type treatment I have. I don’t like reflective surfaces.
Who would have guessed there are 3 major intersections in the Hawkes bay with billboard placements next to them.

Nicci D doesn’t work at Ogilvy

Gosh i would have thought not even knowing what the client’s name was and the client not even noticing you’d got it wrong was a bit of a clue?
Maybe the blog owner should call the “client” and do some of that journalism stuff

I loved this, then was gutted to see you copied it from another NZ agency.
