Auckland Council via Ogilvy New Zealand lets Aucklanders know Rugby World Cup 2011 will go off with a bang on the night of September 9, in the biggest pyrotechnic display the city has ever seen.

It’s a concept. Will it run? Is it being made as a giant experiential piece as I write this? Is this blog a forum for putting scamps up? The editorial isn’t clear. Can someone at Ogilvy respond? For the record, it’s pretty cool and will look good if it is made, but if it’s not going to be made, then I’m off to start putting my bottom drawer ideas on the blog.
