RAPP Tribal today announced the appointment of Andy Bell as its new general manager. Bell’s appointment reflects RAPP Tribal’s expansion with recent client successes including the digital work for the Steinlager ‘We Believe’ and SKY RWC 2011 campaigns, and additional Yellow business.

For the past four and a half years Bell has sharpened his client service and management skills at AIM Proximity as general manager and at Colenso BBDO as head of integration.

Rob Limb, RAPP Tribal managing director, said Bell’s depth of experience in the industry will make him an invaluable addition to the team.

Says Limb: “This is a fantastic hire for RAPP Tribal and the timing is impeccable. It signals the next phase of growth and development for RAPP Tribal as we position ourselves to take advantage of unique capabilities; an outcome of combining two great agencies 12 months ago. Andy will add huge value to our client partnerships and growth strategy. We’ve now got our dream-team.”

Bell says he is excited to be joining the team at this point in RAPP Tribal’s evolution.

Says Bell: “Rob and the team have done a cracking job of positioning the agency for the future. It’s the start of something pretty interesting and I’m absolutely stoked to have the opportunity to be part of it.”

Charlotte Findlay, head of marketing communications at Telecom, is looking forward to working with Bell for the second time.

Says Findlay: “Andy brings with him a depth of Telco experience. He has a unique blend of digital, direct and business smarts that make him a great partner to work with.”
